Le rappeur T.I. et la chanteuse Mary J.Blige en duo

Le rappeur T.I. et la chanteuse Rn'B Mary J. Blige viennent de diffuser un duo intitulé Remember Me, extrait de la réédition collector de l'album Paper Trail de l'Américain, sorti en 2008. C'est bien connu, le R'n'B et le rap vont souvent de pair. La preuve en est avec ce nouveau single. Remember Me, disponible sur le MySpace de T.I. , est le premier extrait de la nouvelle version de l'album Paper Trail du rappeur d'Atlanta, provisoirement intitulé Paper Trail : Case Closed, à paraître le 4 août prochain aux Etats-Unis. Il a été produit par l'Américain Polow Da Don, qui a déjà travaillé avec Will Smith , Chris Brown , Ciara, Kelly Rowland , Fergie , Usher, ou encore The Pussycat Dolls. Dans les paroles de ce duo, T.I., de son vrai nom Clifford Joseph Harris Jr, évoque sa peine de prison pour port d'armes illégal et explique qu'il veut que les gens se souviennent de lui. Pas de doute là-dessus ! En attendant la sortie d'un nouvel album studio de T.I., la réédition collector du sixième opus du rappeur devrait être agrémentée de cinq nouvelles chansons, dont à confirmer Like It Do, en duo avec le rappeur The-Dream et My Dear avec la chanteuse R'n'B Ciara. Les morceaux Out in the Cold avec le groupe pop-punk Fall Out Boy, On Top of the World avec Kanye West ou bien encore Hell of a Life pourraient également faire partie de ces titres inédits. Pour une sortie collector, en voilà une belle !
